Life insurance is our core business, and our three life insurance companies—Taiyo Life, Daido Life, and T&D Financial Life—pursue market specialization strategies. The Group also includes T&D United Capital (investment business), T&D Asset Management (asset management), and Pet & Family (non-life insurance) which have an affinity with the life insurance business, All Right which builds a customer base utilizing digital tools, T&D Information System which supports the Group's system development, operation, etc. , and T&D Investment Management North America which sophisticates the Group’s asset management functions. While each operating company takes maximum advantage of its uniqueness and expertise, T&D Holdings, in its role as holding company, manages the Group to ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, pursuing overall optimization and bolstering Group capabilities.
In keeping with the Group’s corporate philosophy, “With our ‘Try & Discover’ motto for creating value, we aim to be a group that contributes to all people and societies,” we are striving to realize sustainable growth by creating shared value; that is, we will create social and economic value.
Beginning in fiscal year 2026, we launched our Group Long-Term Vision, Try & Discover 2030 -Breaking Beyond-. Through this vision, we have defined our Group Management Vision as:“One “Try & Discover” for sustainable growth.” While honoring the spirit of challenge and discovery that has been at the heart of our Group since its founding, we will continue to expand the scope of our shared value creation.
By fostering common Group values through the vision and by making efforts more collectively as a Group than ever before with each company implementing action plans in line with the Group vision, the Group will achieve sustainable growth even under the highly uncertain and rapidly changing environment.
