Group Occupational Health and Safety Policy

The T&D Insurance Group (the "Group" or "we") recognizes that the safety and health of its employees are an important management foundation that supports sustainable growth and the enhancement of corporate value over the medium to long term. Based on the Group Human Resources Basic Policy, this Policy sets forth our basic approach and commitment to occupational health and safety.
We will promote initiatives related to occupational health and safety with the aim of creating a workplace environment where every employee can work safely and in good health. In addition, we will comply with laws and regulations concerning occupational health and safety, reduce health and safety risks, maintain and improve employees’ physical and mental health, and continuously improve our initiatives, thereby fostering workplaces where employees can demonstrate their abilities with peace of mind.
This Policy organizes and clearly states, as a common approach of the Group, the occupational health and safety initiatives implemented by each Group company.
Based on this approach, we establish the following basic policies.

We will strive to prevent occupational accidents and health impairments and promote the development of workplace environments in which employees can work safely and healthily.

We will comply with laws, regulations, and other internal rules related to occupational health and safety and implement appropriate health and safety management.

We regard the maintenance and promotion of employees’ health as one of our important management issues and will strive to create workplaces where employees can work in good physical and mental health through mental health initiatives, prevention of excessive working hours, promotion of work-life balance, and other health promotion measures.

We will appropriately identify and assess health and safety risks in the workplace and work to reduce and prevent such risks, thereby helping to prevent accidents and health impairments.

We will continuously conduct education and awareness-raising activities related to health and safety and strive to enhance the safety and health awareness of all employees.

We will place importance on dialogue with employees and encourage their proactive participation in health and safety activities in order to realize safe and healthy workplace environments.

We will set goals related to health and safety, regularly review the status of their achievement, and work to continuously improve occupational health and safety management.
